Hygiene & Pest Control
To ensure hygiene and reduce the risk of insect damage:

All wool yarns are frozen for about one week immediately after purchase for insect prevention.

Completed garments are also frozen once before shipping to eliminate any remaining larvae or eggs.

This method is based on the idea that freezing at −18°C (0°F) for about one week can help prevent insect survival.
Each item is carefully managed and handled by the maker with great attention to cleanliness and safety.

If you ever notice insect concerns during home storage, freezing the item in your freezer for about a week may help eliminate any pests. Afterward, simply brush off and air-dry in the shade.

Care Instructions
While hand-washing at home is possible, wool and alpaca are delicate fibers and may shrink or felt if not handled properly.

This piece was successfully washed using Sonett Wool & Silk Sensitive Detergent, a fragrance-free, plant-based detergent.
The following method was tested and found to preserve the sweater’s texture and shape:

Hand-Wash Method (Tested)
Fill a basin with lukewarm water (below 30°C) and add a small amount of mild detergent.

Gently submerge the sweater and let it soak for about 15 minutes (do not rub or agitate).

Rinse twice using water at the same temperature.

Wrap in a towel and gently press to remove excess water (do not wring).

Place in a laundry net and spin in the washing machine for 30 seconds to 1 minute on a delicate cycle.

Lay flat to dry in a shaded, well-ventilated area, adjusting the shape as needed.

This process preserved the garment beautifully without any shrinking or distortion.
